Description:
A fine quality Edwardian period rosewood folding envelope card table. This is profusely inlaid with boxwood. The top swivels allowing it to be opened up in four sections revealing an inset baize lined card playing surface with four sunken counter wells. The table has a single mahogany lined drawer with its original decorative brass knobs. The four tapered and inlaid legs have their original cup castors and are united by a shaped stretcher. This table is in excellent original condition with all its original colour and polished surface. Sizes closed: 21 ½ “(55cms) wide, 21 ½ “(55cms) deep, 28 ½ “(72cms) high. Sizes open: 30 ½ “(77cms) wide, 30 ½ “(77cms) deep, 27 ½ “(70cms) high. Date circa 1910.
