Description:
A very pretty Regency period mahogany wall mirror. This is believed to have originated from the workshop of a cabinet maker in Boston, Lincolnshire. The cornice is highlighted with applied ivory coloured balls, the top panel has diagonal string inlay with cluster half columns on each side of the mirror glass. This mirror has a fine original colour and is in excellent condition, the mirror glass haS been replaced. Sizes are given O/A: 19 ½ “(50 cms) wide, 27 ½ “(70cms) high, 4 ½ “(11cms) deep. Date circa 1815.
