Description:
A pair of mechanical metal money banks with their original paintwork which is showing expected and usual signs of wear. They work by lifting the coin in their hand to the mouth and rolling their eyes by means of a lever placed behind the shoulder, both are in good working order. They are missing their stopper plates in the base, see picture. Sizes: Male: 8 ½” (22cms) high, 5” (13cms) wide, 3” (8cms) deep. Female: 6” (15cms) high, 5” (13cms) wide, 3” (8cms) deep. Date circa 1920.
