An Edwardian period mahogany side table with five oak lined drawers all retaining their original brass handles. This would originally have been used as a small sideboard but today with its generous kneehole design would make an excellent writing desk or large dressing table. The front is shaped and bowed in the centre. All the drawer fronts and the top are crossbanded in satinwood and it stands on six tapered legs with their original brass castors. This is a very good example of Sheraton revival furniture and is in excellent and totally original condition. Sizes: 48”(122cms)wide, 23”(58cms)deep, 30 ½ “(78cms)high. Date circa 1900.
