Description:
A mid 18th. cent. period mahogany dressing or toilet mirror. The base is stepped with three oak lined drawers and stands on its original ogee feet, the mirror is supported by its original uprights and has a shaped moulded frame with its original gilded inset, now mellowed with age. This is an excellent example of this type of mirror, it is in fine strong condition with a lovely old original colour. The mirror glass has been replaced. Sizes: 18”(46cms) wide, 9 ½ “(24cms) deep, 25”(63cms) high. Date circa 1750.
