Serpentine dressing mirror. SOLD

A very attractive and top quality, early 19th cent, mahogany dressing or toilet mirror. This has a shield shaped mirror supported by extremely well shaped uprights standing on a serpentine shaped base with three mahogany lined drawers, this stands on shaped ogee bracket feet. The top of the base is crossbanded in kingwood. The mirror frame and drawer fronts are edged with boxwood string inlay. This mirror is in excellent condition throughout. The mirror glass has been replaced. Sizes: 21”(54cms) wide, 9”(23cms) deep, 25”(64cms) high. Date circa 1810.
