Pair of Regency mirrors. £790

Description:
A very pretty, closely matched pair of Regency period, mahogany, hanging wall mirrors. These mirrors have lived together within memory and are believed to have originated from the workshop of a cabinet maker in Boston, Lincolnshire. The cornices are highlighted with ivory balls, the top panels have diagonal string inlay with cluster half columns on each side of the mirror glass. There are several minor differences of design and this includes a small difference of ½ “ in the O/A sizes. They have a fine original colour which is identical, they are in excellent condition, the mirror glasses have been replaced. Sizes given are of the slightly larger mirror. 19 ½ “(49 ½ cms) wide, 27 ½ “(69cms) high. Date circa 1815.
