An early Victorian period miniature pedestal dining table. The top which tilts up is veneered with maplewood and crossbanded in rosewood, the base is made in mahogany. This would probably have been made by an apprentice to show off his skills or could have been used as a sample by a travelling salesman selling large dining tables. It is in lovely original condition with all its untouched polished surface. Sizes: 8 ¾ “(22cms) diameter, 6 ¾ “(17cms) high. Date circa 1840.
