Georgian fitted tea caddy. £350

Description:
A well fitted, small rectangular Georgian tea caddy. This has a very rare feature in that it retains its three original brass topped containers. The caddy has satinwood panels on all five surfaces with broad cross banding in mahogany all veneered onto oak, the handle and escutcheon appear to be original. The containers are all embossed with a star motif, they are showing a few signs of wear but are complete with their original tops. Sizes: 7 ½ “(19cms) wide, 4 ½”(11cms) deep, 4 ½”(11cms) high. Date circa 1800.
