A very pretty, small, Edwardian period mahogany kneehole writing desk. This has nine oak lined drawers all with their original brass handles. The top is inserted with a good quality dark blue leather which is in very good condition. The front of the desk has an inverted breakfront. All the drawer fronts, the top and the sides of the desk are cross banded in satinwood. This desk retains all its original old polished surface which continues round the back making it completely centre standing. Eight of the drawers have working locks. This is an excellent quality desk in fine condition. Sizes: 39”(99cms) wide, 23 ½ “(60cms) deep, 30”(76cms) high. Date circa 1900.
